Le Grand Hotel

The place was very comfortable and the staff were friendly and wiling to help. The rooms were spacious and the breakfast was varied and fresh. Overall we had a great stay.

I was a Bit apprehensive about booking here after I read previous reviews but due to location I went for it, and so glad I did! It was fabulous! The staff were so nice and helpful and friendly. We booked the cheapest room and on arrival we were Upgraded to a bigger and newly renovated room and it was very comfortable and spotless clean! I was ill so decided to sleep in but my niece, who I was traveling with, she ate the breakfast and said it was fabulous! The room got a little hot at night but the French balcony was a savior of fresh air (the heat can also be turned down on the thermostat in the room). Bed was comfortable, room was spacious, it was only a 2 minute walk a cross the road from the main station and 15 minutes walk to everything else you might want to see in the center. We loved that we could stay until 12:00 too and when we were too cold outside we came back to chill out in their common area for a few hours before our train left, even tho we had already checked out. Would definitely stay here again!

WOW! What a wonderful establishment. We had the expected 200m walk from the station and met an exceptional receptionist Gabriel who was able to expertly convey so much information about the hotel and the town. I can't compliment her enough. Without even asking, Gabriel found us another room as we arrived early and this was an upgrade to an spectacularly huge room. This is the company's policy I found out later. Nothing was too much trouble for the staff here, who had been really well trained in superb customer service. This extended also to the staff in the breakfast resturant (the food was really tasty and plentiful and replenished right up until the end of service. Would love to return to Strasburg and stay here again.

Excellent location in terms of convenience - 2 minutes walk from Central train station. Great for doing day trips by train. Decent breakfast. The hotel was in the middle of a renovation. It looked a little chaotic. However, they tried to keep the premises clean and dust free.

The hotel is in an excellent location. Close to the center, main street, cathedral and Petit France. The breakfast was excellent, everything you expect for breakfast is available. Nice dining room with a small outdoor terrace. Parking in the parking garage costs 15 euros per day. Very affordable. The rooms are spacious, clean and comfortable. Staff very friendly, we got all the information we needed. We had a dog with us and we were most surprised by the gesture that if we wanted to have breakfast with him, they would prepare a special place for us. Although we didn't need it, we really liked this kind gesture. Thank you very much for this wonderful attitude towards animals. We will return to Strasbourg and will definitely stay in this hotel.
